FL Man Allegedly Points Gun at Bar Patron After Karaoke Machine Malfunction

A night of karaoke at a bar in Clearwater, Florida, took a wild turn when one man became so enraged by a malfunctioning karaoke machine that he allegedly pulled a gun on another patron who was trying to console him.
Karaoke Night Turns Violent
On the evening of March 15, 2025, police say 34-year-old Aaron Jablonski became upset at the Overtime Sports Bar on Sunset Point Road. According to an arrest report, the karaoke machine wasn't working properly, which sparked Jablonski's anger.
He eventually left the bar but remained visibly upset. Outside, another customer who had stepped out for a smoke noticed Jablonski's frustration and attempted to calm him down.
That's when things escalated.
'I Don't [Expletive] Care'
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Law & Crime, Jablonski allegedly pulled a gun from his waistband, pointed it at the other man, and said, "I don't [expletive] care." He then turned away, "racked a round out of his gun," and walked off.
Fortunately, no shots were fired during the incident. The man returned to the bar and called 911.
Felony Charges and Arrest
Jablonski was arrested later that night by Clearwater Police. He faces two charges: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to court records, a man with the same name has faced multiple felony charges in Pinellas County and elsewhere over the past 15 years. However, many of those charges appear to have been reduced to misdemeanors through plea deals. It is unclear which felony conviction made it illegal for Jablonski to have a gun.
He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and released on a $40,000 bond on March 18, 2025.
Court Orders and What's Next
The day after his arrest, a judge issued two orders: one preventing Jablonski from coming within 500 feet of the victim and another barring him from returning to the Overtime Sports Bar.
Currently, no additional court date has been scheduled.
While the karaoke machine may have been broken that night, it's Jablonski who now finds himself facing the music.
