From Glam to Slam—Prom Dress Sale Turns into a Wrestling Match-1

The economy is rough when even teenagers have to fight for their money — literally. A prom dress sale at a Georgia gas station turned into an all-out brawl when a group of young women tried to snatch the gown without paying, but their plan backfired when the 5-foot-tall seller body-slammed one of her attackers onto the pavement.

Dressing Room Drama Turns Criminal

It all started on Feb. 26, 2025, at a RaceTrac gas station in Gwinnett County, Georgia, when an 18-year-old woman met up with a former friend to sell a prom dress. But instead of cash, she got chaos — and it was all caught on camera.

The victim had agreed to meet Morgan Flinchum, 20, who originally owned the dress but no longer had it after the victim's mother helped pay for it. Flinchum wanted to buy it back, and the two went inside the gas station so she could try it on. Before any money exchanged hands, two other women — Kaylee George and Leila DeJager — allegedly jumped in to swipe the gown without paying. That's when the sale turned into a full-fledged robbery attempt.

From Prom Queen to Pro Wrestler

As the victim fought to keep her dress, things got physical. She was choked from behind as the suspects ganged up on her. But despite being just 5 feet tall and 102 pounds, she wasn't going down without a fight. At one point, she managed to flip one of her attackers over her shoulder, slamming her onto the concrete in a move that wouldn't be out of place in a WWE ring.

Surveillance footage captured the entire fight, showing the victim desperately holding onto the dress while outnumbered. Her boyfriend was also at the scene and managed to grab the gown back. But before police arrived, punches, hair-pulling, and more chaos ensued near the gas pumps.

Police Weigh In: This Didn't Have to Happen

Authorities later reviewed the footage and arrested all three suspects.

The charges:

• Morgan Flinchum – Battery and theft by taking

• Leila DeJager – Battery and theft by taking

• Kaylee George – Theft by taking

"There was a dispute, which ultimately was a civil issue between the dress and money owed to one of the parties," said Gwinnett County Cpl. Juan Madiedo, according to WSB-TV 2. "Obviously, in the video, you can see it became physical, and that's when 911 was called."

Don't Get Caught in a Fashion Feud

While this gas station throwdown made for viral-worthy footage, police are reminding people to be smart about online sales.

"Here in Gwinnett County, all of our police precincts, including our headquarters here, have designated e-commerce parking," he said, WSB-TV 2 reported. "We invite any citizen out there, if you're looking to make a transaction, sell any items or purchase an item online, meet that person at one of our designated e-commerce locations," Madiedo advised.

In the end, the victim got her dress back, but not without a fight. This dress sale may have started with dreams of glamour, but it ended in a battle worthy of a championship belt. So, the next time you meet up to sell something? Maybe skip the gas station and go for a police parking lot instead.
