Nicole Kidman's LA Home Burglarized on Valentine's

While Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban enjoyed a romantic Valentine's Day in Las Vegas, burglars had other plans for their Los Angeles home. Sometime on the evening of Feb. 14, 2025, intruders smashed their way inside, ransacked the place, and bolted when a household staff member unexpectedly walked in.
Shattered Glass and a Quick Getaway
Authorities received reports of the burglary around 8 p.m. The thieves allegedly broke a glass door or window to gain entry, then tore through the house looking for valuables. Just as quickly as they arrived, they fled — startled when a member of Kidman and Urban's staff showed up. It's still unclear how much, if anything, was taken, and police haven't confirmed whether any suspects have been identified.
The couple, both 57, remained blissfully unaware of the chaos back home as Urban performed at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. Urban shared an Instagram post later that weekend featuring photos from his show and a black-and-white shot of him and Kidman walking arm in arm. “Valentines in vegas,” he captioned the post.
Just Another Name on a Growing List
Unfortunately, Kidman and Urban aren't the only celebrities dealing with unexpected houseguests. Their break-in is just one in a string of high-profile burglaries targeting celebrities and athletes. Authorities recently arrested seven Chilean men connected to a South American theft ring that allegedly stole millions from the homes of NFL, NBA, and MLS players.
Police haven't officially linked the Kidman-Urban burglary to that crew, but the timing raises questions. The break-in happened the same night Beverly Hills police arrested three people suspected of carrying out burglaries for a South American operation. A car chase near Rodeo Drive led to the suspects' capture, though it's still unclear whether their crimes connect to the rash of celebrity break-ins.
A Bigger Problem Than One Break-In
Over the past several months, burglars have targeted the homes of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, Luka Dončić, Bobby Portis, and Mike Conley Jr. Authorities believe many of these break-ins follow a pattern: Thieves strike when their targets are on the road for games, performances, or other high-profile events.
Law enforcement agencies across the country have issued warnings to athletes and celebrities, urging them to take extra precautions. The NFL and NBA even sent memos in November 2024 alerting players to the trend.
Will the Thieves Be Caught?
For now, investigators continue digging for leads. No suspects have been publicly named, and authorities haven't said whether this burglary connects to the larger crime ring. Representatives for Kidman and Urban haven't commented, but one thing's clear — this Valentine's Day ended with a shattered door instead of chocolates and roses.
