Glen Rogers was known by many names, chief among them being "The Casanova Killer" and "The Cross-Country Killer."

But when he spoke his final words before execution in a Florida prison, it was one name that caught everyone off guard — Donald Trump. In a quiet, sterile room, Rogers closed a chapter that had spanned decades of violence, speculation, and courtroom battles. But he didn't go out in silence.

Who Was Glen Rogers?

Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Rogers was once a traveling carnival worker before becoming one of the most infamous suspected serial killers of the 1990s. He was convicted of two brutal murders — both in 1995 — though he once claimed responsibility for as many as 70 killings before later recanting the statement.

The first known victim, Sandra Gallagher, was a 33-year-old mother of three. Rogers met her at a bar in Van Nuys, California, and later strangled her to death.

Just weeks later, he murdered Tina Marie Cribbs, a 34-year-old mother of two, after meeting her at a bar in Tampa, Florida. Her body was found in a motel room, and Rogers was later arrested in Kentucky while driving her car.

Authorities also named Rogers as a suspect in multiple unsolved homicides, often targeting women with similar physical characteristics — petite, red-haired, and in their 30s — although no additional charges were brought.

The Execution

On May 15, 2025, after nearly 30 years on death row, Rogers was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison near Starke. The execution began at 6 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m.

In his final moments, Rogers turned political. "President Trump, keep making America great. I'm ready to go," he said after thanking his wife, according to NBC News.

He also offered a cryptic final message: "In the near future, your questions will be answered," but he provided no further detail, according to NBC News.

The Victims and Their Families

Though no members of Tina Cribbs' family addressed the press after the execution, others affected by Rogers' crimes traveled far for closure. Linda Price, a Jackson, Mississippi woman who briefly dated Rogers in 1995, is among his suspected victims. Her sister, Debbie Spikes, said the family made a 10-hour drive to witness the execution. "It was very hard to see, you know? But at least we think we have a closure," she told WLBT News.

The O.J. Simpson Connection

Rogers' name surfaced in connection with one of the most widely publicized murder cases in modern history. In the 2012 documentary "My Brother the Serial Killer," his brother Clay Rogers alleged that Glen had admitted to the 1994 killings of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Despite the documentary's claims, the authorities were firm in their stance. "We know who killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. We have no reason to believe that Mr. Rogers was involved," the Los Angeles Police Department stated at the time, as reported by NBC News.

Although the story drew attention, Rogers was never officially linked to the double homicide. O.J. Simpson, who faced trial in the case and was acquitted in criminal court, was later found civilly liable. He died in April 2024 following a fight with cancer.

A Strange End to a Chaotic Life

Even in death, Glen Rogers left questions hanging in the air. His final words added an odd political footnote to a life defined by violence, deception, and speculation. Was his parting message meant to shock? Was it a sincere belief, or just a parting performance from a man long accused of manipulation?

For the families of his victims, those final words won't bring back loved ones. But they do mark the end of a story that haunted three decades of headlines.
