In a chilling incident that stunned a Texas community, 30-year-old Johnathan Taylor walked into a Wendy's® fast-food restaurant covered in blood after allegedly stabbing his mother to death. The gruesome details of this case have left many questioning how such a horrifying event could unfold.
The Disturbing Scene at Wendy's
On the evening of Oct. 9, 2024, Taylor entered a Wendy's restaurant in Texas City, visibly covered in blood and wounds on his arm, shocking employees and patrons. Telling them he'd just been robbed, staff immediately contacted law enforcement to report the unsettling situation.
Police Make a Gruesome Discovery
While being questioned, Taylor admitted to attacking his 68-year-old mother, Regina McIntyre, at their home. Responding officers conducted a welfare check and found McIntyre in the kitchen, suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was airlifted to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
The Suspect Faces Murder Charges
Following the discovery, Taylor was formally charged with murder. The Texas City Police Department confirmed that he is being held under a $500,000 bond as the investigation continues, as reported by the Merced Sun-Star.
