$1000 From a Stranger?

If you haven't yet heard of Zachery Dereniowski, you're in for a treat. The man behind the @mdmotivator accounts on TikTok and Instagram has one mantra: Make kindness cool.
With more than 18 million followers on TikTok and more than 5 million on Instagram, it seems he's done just that by taking random acts of kindness to a whole new level.
Most of Zachery's videos start with a similar script. With a video camera hidden from view, Zachery approaches a person in need and usually asks for a small favor, such as something to eat. When that person agrees, Zachery then reveals he doesn't actually need the favor, and he turns that person's generosity into the ultimate form of instant karma.
Here are just five of Zachery's random acts of kindness – trust us, you'll want to watch more:
1. "I'm going to the game!"
Zachery surprises a retired Marine who served 21 years of active duty with Super Bowl® tickets and $1,000. (The man keeps only $200 and gives the rest to his mother). Watch the joy as this former football player attends his first Super Bowl.
2. "Can I have an apple?"
A disabled man is minding his own business in the library, using an old computer to do his schoolwork. Enter Zachery. He asks the man for money to buy an apple. When the man offers Zachery an orange, Zach rewards him with a different kind of Apple®.
3. "Let's go to Disney®!"
What would you do if someone offered you the chance to go to Disney World for free? The only catch is you have to go today. Watch while Zachery offers several people this very chance – and see what happens when the first person finally takes him up on it.
4. "Can I have some lemonade?"
A young boy who beat brain cancer is running a lemonade stand. He hopes to earn enough money to buy tickets for the opening day game of the Phillies®. Zachery swoops in and buys all his lemonade, and that's just the beginning of the best day ever.
5. "Where's home?"
In this touching video series, Zachery meets a man who wants to fly home to Ghana to see his father, whose leg has been amputated. However, the man is having trouble finding a job to support his family – much less pay for an expensive airplane flight. Even though he has no money to spare, the man gives Zachery his last $20 to buy something to eat. And then karma ensues.
