Wife of 'Ghost Adventures' Star Posted Cozy Photo a Week Before Her Arrest in Alleged Murder Plot-main

Victoria Goodwin, the wife of "Ghost Adventures" star Aaron Goodwin, was arrested March 6, 2025, on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Before her arrest, she posted several photos of herself and Aaron looking happy together in the weeks leading up to the incident, including an image of a cuddly couch encounter.

No Sign of Trouble to Come

On Feb. 27, 2025, 32-year-old Victoria took to Instagram® and shared a photo of herself, her husband Aaron, and their pet cat relaxing together on the couch, with no sign of the trouble that was about to happen. In the photo, the pair's legs are visible as they sat on a brown couch — their pet cat sleeping between their legs. Aaron's hand rested on her knee, showing off his wedding ring. The photo's caption? "Cuddle puddle with my boys."

March 6 Arrest

Victoria was arrested a week later and charged with soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder, according to inmate records from Clark County, Nevada, obtained by PEOPLE. She was held on $100,000 bail.

Police in Florida told TMZ that investigators found messages from Victoria to an inmate in a Florida prison discussing plans to murder her husband, Aaron. One of the alleged texts, according to the outlet, said, "Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce." However, Victoria has denied plotting to have her husband killed or wanting him dead, police said.

Keeping Up Appearances on Instagram

On Valentine's Day before her March 6 arrest, Victoria shared a smiling selfie with Aaron playing mini-golf. She captioned the post, "mini golf with my Valentine." Aaron also posted that day by sharing a picture of the back of Victoria's head as she took a swing at mini-golf. He captioned the photo, "My valentine always beats me at mini golf."

The Evidence

Victoria had allegedly shared details with the inmate about the location and filming times of "Ghost Adventures," which was being filmed in California, police said. According to police, she had set aside more than $11,500 to pay the prisoner. They had also messaged about a $2,500 upfront payment, according to PEOPLE.

As reported by PEOPLE, police identified the alleged murder-for-hire messages after they found the smuggled phone on the inmate.

Victoria denied plotting to have her husband killed and wanting him dead. She also said she didn't remember sending any messages to the prisoner in Florida and claimed that the money was meant for cell phones. However, she did admit that she and Aaron had been having problems in their marriage.

From Disneyland® to Divorce

Aaron and Victoria got married in August 2022, and the "Ghost Adventures" star shared the news on Instagram, posting several pictures from their wedding celebration at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. He shared photos of the couple dancing in a golden ballroom and joyfully exchanging vows at the altar.

Aaron was blindsided by the news of Victoria's alleged betrayal and said he thought the pair had been in a happy marriage. He has filed for divorce from Victoria, and she has a preliminary court date scheduled for March 25, 2025.

Aaron and Victoria Goodwin's marriage, which began in a joyful celebration at Disneyland in 2022, took a shocking turn due to her alleged conspiracy to commit murder. While they once shared happy moments, such as their wedding and fun times together, her arrest now overshadows their past, leaving their marriage in ruins.
