After analyzing the birth dates of nearly 500 serial killers, ZodiacSign.com identified which of the zodiac signs are shockingly overrepresented. Here's a breakdown of the four most common zodiac signs of serial killers.

1. Pisces (February 19–March 20): The Emotional Mastermind

Many notorious serial killers like John Wayne Gacy falling under the water sign of Pisces. Known for their sensitivity, Pisces' emotional volatility may contribute to their dark side. They topped the list with 46 killers, tied with the next three on the list.

2. Sagittarius (November 23–December 21): The Charismatic Manipulator

Sagittarius, the sign of Ted Bundy, was also a top sign for serial killers. Sagittarians are known for their charm and adventurous nature, but Bundy used his charm to lure in victims, making Sagittarius one of the deadliest signs.

3. Cancer (June 22–July 22): The Isolated Outsider

Cancer, often seen as emotionally complex and prone to feelings of isolation, also ranks high. The list includes 46 Cancer serial killers, showing how their deep emotions can sometimes manifest in dangerous ways.

4. Scorpio (October 24–November 22): The Jealous Avenger

Scorpios are often associated with manipulation and jealousy, making them one of the most feared signs on the zodiac chart. Like the previous three signs, Scorpio also accounts for 46 serial killers, including some of history's most notorious criminals.

The Deadliest: Capricorn (December 22–January 19)

Though not the most frequent, Capricorn killers are the deadliest. Their rigid discipline and methodical approach led them to rack up the highest victim count, total and on average, responsible for over 800 deaths total. The deadliest killer on the list, a U.K. physician named Harold Shipman believed to have killed more than 200 of his patients, was one of the 42 Capricorns on the list.

Zodiac Signs Least Likely to Kill

At the other end of the spectrum, Gemini (May 21–June 21) and Taurus (April 20–May 20) have the fewest serial killers, accounting for 27 each. Despite Gemini's reputation for being two-faced, they and Taurus, known for being calm and grounded, combined to account for only 11% of all serial killers on the list.

While astrology might offer some interesting insights into personality traits, the field is still widely considered a pseudoscience. Serial killers come from all backgrounds and zodiac signs. There's no clear formula to predict who will become a violent criminal. Nevertheless, these findings have certainly added an interesting layer to the ongoing fascination with true crime.
